1-The Challenge: Pre-Built Walls and Precision Requirements
ND Skin Aesthetics approached us with a unique challenge. The clinic had a pre-built interior wall made of plasterboard, which presented complications for signage installation. The client required an elegant, halo-lit signage that matched the exterior branding we had previously provided. However, plasterboard walls are less sturdy and more prone to damage, raising concerns about safely installing the signage while achieving a high-end finish with seamless lighting effects.
The challenge was twofold: first, to install the signage in a way that would maintain the integrity of the delicate plasterboard, and second, to ensure the lighting created the desired halo effect without compromising the sleek, modern aesthetic ND Skin Aesthetics aimed for.
2. The Transformation: Crafting a Seamless Signage Solution
Our team approached the project by providing a precise and thoughtful solution that ensured the final result was flawless and fully integrated with the clinic’s overall branding.
- Reinforcing the Installation:
Understanding the limitations of plasterboard, we began by reinforcing the installation area. We worked with specialist fixings designed for plasterboard to ensure the signage was securely mounted. The structural integrity was enhanced, so the sign could be safely installed without damaging the wall. This crucial step ensured the signage was not only durable but also able to support the necessary electrical wiring for the halo effect. - Achieving the Halo Effect:
The halo effect was a key part of the aesthetic the client wanted to achieve. We installed LED backlighting behind the signage, carefully balancing the light intensity to create a subtle, elegant glow around the letters.
